Former president of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s last book Transcendence was launched in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Transcendence is based on Kalam’s spiritual experiences with Pramukh Swami Maharaj, spiritual leader of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. Kalam co-authored with it Arun Tiwari.

The book was launched amid hundreds of devotees belonging to BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha by eminent personalities belonging to various fields at a function held at Ramoji Film City (RFC) in Hyderabad  .

“Dr APJ Abdul Kalam is one best nationalist thinkers India has ever seen and he is a fusion of science and spirituality. All his books starting from his first book ‘Wings of Fire’ have received wide applause from people. Transcendence will also achieve same kind of success,” said Ramoji Rao, chairman of Ramoji Group after the launch of book.

“Kalamji always advocated for self reliance in case of critical technologies and supported indigenous technologies. He was full of enthusiasm always and strove to learn about new things till his last breath. Besides to being a great scientist he was a noble human being and also deeply spiritual,” recalled P Sudhakar, Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) at the book launch function.

Co-author of Transcendence Arun Tiwari, Lead India founder E Harikishan, Chairman of My Home Group Jupally Rameshwar Rao, among others were present at the book launch.

Transcendence is published by Harper Collins. It is available at all leading book stores and also at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandirs.
