Sri Ram Universal School

The Students and Teachers of The Shri Ram Universal School, Hyderabad organized a mega event, “Mad About Tales”, on 22nd December, 2017 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at their school campus. Mad About Tales is a SHRI signature event where the ‘Shriites’ dived into the depth of the tales to present the same in various forms and styles. An event that builds the language and presentation skills of the children and helps them imbibe the values that are reflected in these tales.
Adults and children took part at the event by playing games, enjoying Nukkad-Natak and by learning martial arts-the Kung Fu Panda style. There were 18 stalls with presentations in the form of skits, book reviews, food stalls and products for sale created by the students and support staff. Every corner of the school pulsated with varied aspects of the themes like exclusive game zone integrated with the tales, selfie booths, etc.
The Principal said,” The month of December brings along the Joy of Giving week at TSUS where under the Shri Dayitv initiative all the contributions from the event would be donated to institutions for children and adults with visual impairment. With support from the parents we ensured that a maximum number of children and elderly people in these institutions benefit from our generosity”.
The day started with an inaugural ceremony with the lighting of the lamp by our Chief Guest, Shri Narsing Rao (Principal Secretary to the CM, Telangana) and our special guests Ms. Sonal Andrews (Director IPTTA) & Ms. Anjali Kariappa (Teacher Trainer and Founder Springup: A leadership Programme for children).
We are proud to share that the logo and the mascot were designed by our very own Shriites from Grade IV and V.
