The Mercury levels have gone up in the ongoing high octane election campaign for the Telangana High Court Advocates Association. Senior Counsel and Former Assistant Solicitor General Of India Mr.Ponnam Ashok Goud has emerged as the favourite candidate for the post of the president in the elections. Although, many candidates are in fray, the achievements made by Mr. Goud seems to have made him the favourite of all thanks to his achievements as the president of APHCAA during the 2009-10 term. “ Ashok Goud Sir had worked as the president of Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocates Association in the past and has done several works for the welfare of all the practising Advocates of the apex Court. He was instrumental in solving many basic problems faced by our community during his tenure. He will continue to serve us in the same manner if he is elected again. I don’t have any doubt that he would win with a thumping majority again,” said a High Court Advocate Mr. P. Kumara Swamy. Similar was the response of another High Court Advocate Md. Inkeshaf Ahmed. Another Advocate slated to be held on March 29,2018. “ To me, Ashok Sir is a source of inspiration. I have learned so many things from him. He is the native of my birth place Karimnagar and is reverred by many advocates. K. Ashok, another practising advocate of High Court says that no other Advocate can match the caliber and intellect of Ashok Sir. “ He can bring smile on your face with his gestures and make you feel at home,” he said The elections are slated to be held on March 29,2018.
